Unit 2 Whole Numbers - Learning Goals

By the end of our unit students will successfully complete the following learning goals:

1. I can recognize and read numbers from 1 to 10 000.

2. I can read and write numbers in standard, expanded and written form.
3. I can use place value to represent numbers.
4. I can compare and order numbers.
5. I can estimate sums and differences.
6. I can add 4-digit numbers.
7. I can subtract 3-digit numbers from 4-digit numbers.
8. I can pose and solve problems.

Welcome Parents/Guardians and Students to Grade 4! We have had a great beginning of the year, I am very lucky to have your children in my class. We are already jumping into our curriculum and we are excited to have our parents involved in our learning.
